Single Origin Coffees | Island Region Coffee

The coffee belt crosses through five continents, which are South America, Central America, Africa, Asia and Oceania; Thus there are many different single origin coffees available on the market. Here are some of our favorite from the South American Region:

1. Puerto Rico Coffee

Puerto Rican coffee is grown in the country's mountainous regions. The coffee beans are typically dark roasted and have a smoky flavor with hints of chocolate. These coffees can be quite strong and have a high acidity.

2. Hawaii Coffee

The Hawaiian Islands are home to some of the most unique coffee in the world. The volcanic soil, high elevation, and tropical climate all contribute to the distinct flavor profile of Hawaii coffee. One of the most popular varieties is Kona coffee, which is grown on the slopes of Mount Hualalai and Mount Loa on the Big Island of Hawaii. Kona coffee is known for its smooth, creamy texture and rich flavor with notes of chocolate and nuts.

3. Jamaican Coffee

Jamaican coffee is known for its sweet, mellow flavor. The country's warm climate and rich soils produce coffees that are full-bodied and complex, with a wide range of flavors, including chocolate, caramel, and nutty.
